Son of God Screening

Win a whole theatre full of seats for your church to watch "Son of God" together!
If you have a great church, it's likely you get a lot from it. It's a place to connect - a place to help you grown in your faith - and a place that encourages you to worship with passion. How cool would it be to do something cool for your church?

We're giving you a chance to do just that, by giving away tickets to the new movie "Son of God"; coming to theaters February 28th.

"Son of God" is the larger than life story of the New Testament, from the producers of the Bible mini-series.

Just listen to WAY-FM all week long; we'll have your chance to call in and win a pair of tickets for you and a friend to see "Son of God" and qualify for the Grand Prize - you can win a whole theatere full of seats for your church to watch Son of God together on opening weekend!
Just listen for the cue to call 855-33-WAY-FM and win!
And please, tell your friends and spread the word at church. Find out more about the Son of God at

*Even though this movie is opening in 2000 theatres, we cannot make the guarantee that we can get the “Free movie for your church” into a theatre that is not showing the film, but we’ll do our best
*Sunday afternoon March 2nd “Free movie for your church” is based on theatre availability. If the movie is sold out, this date may have to be moved back 1 week.

Rushing Aid to the Philippines in the Aftermath of Catastrophic Storm

One of the strongest storms in recorded history slammed into the Philippines on Friday, November 8, 2013. Typhoon Haiyan has displaced nearly half a million people and killed or injured tens of thousands more. Samaritan's Purse and Compassion International are two great ways to offer your assistance to the people of the Phillipines.

Samaritan's Purse

Samaritan's Purse will be distributing food, water, medicine, blankets, and other essential items in the central Philippines. The area includes Bohol, where a 7.2 magnitude earthquake left thousands homeless in October. We will work alongside Christians in the Philippines who have often partnered with us to share the love of Jesus with people in need. Please pray for people who have lost everything because of the storm, and our teams as we respond.

The need is great. Your financial support is vital and appreciated. We will do all we can to help as many as we can in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Compassion International

Compassion International is closely monitoring the situation to assess damage to the children we serve in the Philippines. We will update this page frequently with accurate information as it is received. At this time please keep the children and families of the Philippines in your prayers.

If you are a sponsor know that we are working closely with the Philippines office to assess the damage. Communication is difficult at this time due to the extent of damage but we will update you on your sponsored child's situation as soon as possible.

How Does Compassion Help Children in Crisis?

The Disaster and Relief Stability Fund was set-up by Compassion to quickly provide aid to families of Compassion assisted children so they can survive a disaster and get back on their feet. When you give to this fund, you help Compassion provide the relief, recovery, and rehabilitation that is vital for restoring families after a disaster. Your gift makes possible interventions such as:

  • emergency food and water
  • temporary shelters
  • personal items
  • cooking utensils
  • trauma counseling and spiritual support
  • replacing clothing, school supplies and household items
  • restoring supplies a family needs for earning income
  • providing continued counseling and support as needed
