Another Life Changed

Hey Way-FM you guys are the best. When I was younger I was always one of the popular kids always getting attention and always getting in trouble. There were times when I felt that I was so far apart from the Lord and the sad part is, I really didn’t care. I came back to the Lord maybe two years ago after thinking about life and death. Then when I got into high school I felt like all my old friends abandoned me and I was sort of an outcast. I became friends with the wrong group of people and soon found out they were all athiest. When they found out I was a Christian it was over and they despise me to this day. Going through all this was very difficult for me because I was afraid to talk about it with anyone. Every morning my Mom, brother and sister listen to Way-Fm going to school. You guys encouraged me to forget about what others say, and to put my eyes on the Lord and talk about my problems at school with my parents. Now school is going great and I have the right friends who also have there eyes on the Lord! I thank you guys so much for staying on the air and encouraging thousands every day!
Hey! We love hearing from you, about you... about how your life has been changed and what you think.

Hey WAY-FM, my story is I have been struggling with my family. I know they
love me but I dont feel it, so I seclude myself from them and try to be
ignorant, but at the same time I want to tell them every thing that is going
in my life. There is a song by Thousand Foot Krutch that really helps me
talk to my family and just encourages me everytime I hear it. Thank you for
all your hard work.

Hi way-fm, I have listen to this station every time I get to. Way-fm has
given me so much courage and strength ever since my aunt and cousin passed
away. My aunt passed away about four months ago and my cousin passed away
about two years ago. My aunt was 44 years old and my cousin was 22. We are
such a close family and we didn’t think that this would happen to us so
soon. I would like to thank Way-fm for getting me through this terrible
time. I love listening to this music that is inspiring, encouraging,
faithful, and telling me that I can get through this.

This past November I lost my grandmother to Alzheimer’s disease. I was very close to her, and unfortuanately this was the first family member that has died since I’ve been alive. A month later I was at church with some friends, and they had Way-FM on the radio. I really liked the music. When they told me what station it was I programed it into the radio of my car. I am a hockey player and since my grandmothers death I have been preoccupied, and this has somewhat distracted me from the way I usually play. Well every day after practice, Way-FM is the first thing that I would put on. To hear these artists professing their faith in such an upbeat and unwaivering manner is so uplifting. The music played on this station always reminds me that my grandmother is in a better place. That God would make it right again sometime. I just want to say how glad I am that I found Way-FM, this station helps me realize how much God loves me and how much I love Him. Thank you!

Last February I lost my grandpa to lung cancer 4 days after my birthday. I was very upset with watching him day that I forgot that God was with me. When I spoke at his funeral I said "I know I will see him again some day." Knowing that what I said was true I felt God with me and next to me. With my grandpa’s death I became closer to God becuase I know that my grandpa was in a better place. Every time I feel down, I listen to way fm and I feel so much better and I realize I always have someone with me.

Thank you so much for broadcasting in Colorado Springs, WAY-FM! I have been listening ever since that joyous first day that you started in the Springs. I love the music you play, because it gives me the strength to get through my day, knowing that God is on my side- your station is the first thing I hear in the morning, and the last thing I hear at night. I pray that you all will continue to share the Good News of Christ with our world- there is nothing better than that. God bless, and thank you for changing so many lives for the better!

Wow, I love your music. It gives me a real choice to switch to and my 12 year old daughter and I finally agree on something. Since you’ve been broadcasting in the Springs my dial hasn’t changed. I love to listen on the way to work to get my mind and heart on Christ.

Both of my parents have been under the influence of drugs for as long as I can remember, just lately my younger sister was able to tell one of her teachers about our home life and we were taken out of there. We are now living with our grandparent. I was listening to WayFM and hearing in the music that there are other people who have survived and are serving God. It gives me hope for the best.
